The two most enjoyable things for me to do are to learn and create, which is a combination lending itself to an endless cycle. This realization led me to art school, where I explored many of the mediums available to me. I have learned from all that I have been exposed to, which explains the diversity in what I make. I use varied techniques in all of my work; even if not directly, the influence of all that I've learned is still present.
As I enter my final year at the Cleveland Institute of Art, I have focused on the ever-growing field of digital arts and multimedia. I am intrigued by all that it has to offer, both in what it can do now and its consistently growing potential. Since I want to learn as much as I can, this virtually endless medium is a perfect fit for me.
My recent work is focused on interactivity. I have become very interested in the possibilities of the web, both in what it can do and who it can reach. I enjoy the idea of a medium reaching everybody, rather than have it for a select few. I have also been drawn to interactivity in real space, be it through installations or books. Including others in my process of learning and creating has a very high appeal to me, especially in situations that can help other people learn as well.
